Volstead's Presents: A Laugh and (maybe) Some Tears with Comrade Tripp

A special night with local comedian star, Comrade Tripp. Right now more than ever we need a night to laugh and perhaps a good cry. Comrade has a unique ability to marry the art of comedy with social commentary in a way that only a brilliant mind can.

Volstead's resident host and producer of "Speak Easy," MJ Matheson, will kick the night off...and the word is he's brining a friend or two!

Come laugh, eat, drink, and cry together.

Your patronage will support making sure Volstead's can stay open. Additionally, 10% of tickets sales will be donated to families that have been devastated by the impact of ICE's presence in Minneapolis.

Who is Comrade Tripp?

orn and raised in Saint Cloud, Minnesota; a city as large as it is small. Comrade Tripp successfully escaped to Minneapolis which is marginally better, he cohosts the Uproar Open Mic every monday at Bryant-Lake Bowl and has nothing else. Despite his despondent disposition, he’s a child at heart; insomuch that he cannot be trusted to take care of himself and has no self esteem whatsoever. The rest of his body is very old.
